While you claim to be ‘lamenting’ on the Islamic world, you fail to appreciate that there are massive libraries and centres in Istanbul, Iran and India that house huge collections of Islamic/Muslim books. The British Library has one of the massive collections, so has in Jordon and Turkey.
And finally – your story of meeting an ‘uknown jew’ with a bizzare thesis sounds extremely implausible. I know Pakistani Urdu readership is usually thick and allow crap to be dished, but this is too much of a simplistic PhD thesis that you have described. I am not sure what kind of formal education you have had, but this simply is taking the micky.
