I always was thinking why a father can’t hear his son case although we have examples of Hazrat Umer and of Holy prophet when he said “if my daughter Aishya has done this thief act, I would do punish him on the same scale.” You solved the problem. The Anglo law’s highest standard is that a man can’t do justice for his son. But Islam sets a higher standard than that. I father is assumed to be a judge – whether the person may be his son.
